Solve Arithmetic Problems Examples

Introduction of solve arithmetic problems examples:

Let us see how to solve arithmetic problems examples. The arithmetic is the major learning of mathematics. The arithmetic can be made by four major operations. These arithmetic procedures are used by everybody in everyday life. The four processes are very simple and easy and also it is used to solve the business calculation and lot of calculations. The common processes are arithmetic addition process, arithmetic subtraction process, arithmetic multiplication process and arithmetic division process.

Arithmetic Operations:

Let us see how to solve arithmetic problems.

Arithmetic process 1: Addition:

This is the straightforward process of the arithmetic. This is the wisdom of addition process. It is demonstrated as “+ “.

Arithmetic process 2: Subtraction:

This is the straightforward process of the arithmetic. This is the wisdom of subtraction process. It is demonstrated as “– “.

Arithmetic process 3: Multiplication:

This is the straightforward process of the arithmetic. This is the wisdom of multiplication. It is demonstrated as “x”.

Arithmetic process 4: Division:

This is the straightforward process of the arithmetic. This is the wisdom of division. It is demonstrated as “/ “.

Examples:

Let us see some arithmetic example problem.

Example 1:

In a container there are 28 apples, 42 oranges and 73 pineapples. Solve how many fruits in the container?

Solution:

Number of apples = 28.

Number of oranges = 42.

Number of pineapples = 73.

Total fruits    = 28+42+73.

= 143 fruits.

Total number of fruits is 143.

Example 2: In hotel there are 200 chairs. 132 chairs were occupied. Solve how many chairs were not occupied?

Solution:

Numbers of chairs = 200.

Occupied chairs    = 132.

Remaining chairs  = 200-132.

= 68 chairs.

The remaining chairs are 68.

Example 3: The chocolate cost is $35. Solve the cost of 50 chocolates.

Solution:

The cost of chocolate = $35.

Cost of 50 chocolate   = 35 x 50.

= $1750.

50 chocolates cost is $1750.

Example 4: 43 ice creams cost is $200. Solve the cost of each ice cream.

Solution:

Total ice cream = 43.

Cost of ice cream = 200.

= 200 / 43.

= $4.65.

Each ice cream cost is $4.65.

This is the example problems of the arithmetic.
